Description
The General Electric IC697ACC721 is a 120 VAC rack fan assembly engineered for GE Fanuc Series 90-70 programmable logic controller chassis and compatible PACSystems RX7i enclosures. The unit provides supplementary forced-air convection to dissipate thermal buildup generated by high-density I/O modules, power supplies, coprocessors, and third-party VME cards installed in 19-inch racks.
The assembly incorporates three low-noise ball-bearing cooling fans mounted in a dedicated tray structure designed for installation directly beneath the rack chassis. Airflow is directed upward through the chassis ventilation slots to maintain safe internal operating temperatures across all slotted modules. The three fans are electrically joined in parallel using an included wiring harness, terminating in a 3-foot lead with stripped wire ends designed for connection to a switched 120 VAC control circuit.

Installation Guidelines
