The General Electric IC697BEM711 is a high-performance Bus Receiver Module designed specifically for the Series 90-70 programmable controller platform. This single-slot module serves as the critical parallel interface that allows expansion from a main PLC rack to a maximum of seven additional IC697 expansion racks. Operating with high-speed parallel data transfer, the IC697BEM711 ensures seamless multi-rack communication over an inter-rack cable length of up to 50 feet (15 meters).

Equipped with dual connectors for upstream CPU connection and daisy-chained rack configurations, the module must be installed strictly in slot 1 of each expansion rack.
