The MDS-DH-CV-370 is designed exclusively for 400V class MDS-DH systems and cannot be interchanged with 200V class MDS-D-CV systems. It requires compatible firmware integration matching the connected host CNC system (such as M700/M800 or M70/M80 controllers). When replacing older revisions, verify the total drive load matching parameters to ensure the sum of the connected servo and spindle ratings does not exceed the 53 kVA system capacity.
Under heavy deceleration cycles of high-inertia spindle motors, the system relies on line regeneration to dissipate energy back into the network. This process absolutely requires the installation of the matching DH-AL-37K AC reactor. Omitting this reactor or substituting a generic alternative will lead to severe overvoltage (F1 ALM) errors, degradation of internal capacitor banks, and potential thermal breakdown of the input rectifying diodes.
Ensure that control power cable routing is physically isolated from the high-voltage DC bus (L+/L-) and AC input lines to minimize EMI noise. Connect the daisy-chained CNC communication bus using high-performance shielded cables, ensuring proper termination at both ends. Verify that the MC (Magnetic Contactor) feedback circuit is properly integrated into the emergency stop loop to safely interrupt AC supply power in the event of an internal system fault.
