Installation Guidelines

• Backplane Insertion: Turn off the main rack power supply before inserting or removing the module from the Q-series base unit.
• CompactFlash Handling: Format the CF card using the correct FAT file system before operation. Do not eject the card while the access LED is illuminated.
• Shielding and Grounding: Use category 5 (or higher) shielded twisted pair (STP) cables for high-noise industrial environments to avoid signal loss or log interruption.
