Installation Guidelines

Standard mount 1/4-28 UNF thread probes are supplied with a 7/16-inch lock nut and 7/32-inch wrench flats. Ensure that the mounting bracket is rigid to avoid false vibration readings, and check that the probe-to-extension-cable connector is insulated using silicone tape or connector protectors to prevent oil and moisture intrusion. Sustained exposure of the Viton seal to temperatures below -34 degC (-30 degF) may compromise the pressure barrier.
