Description

To analyze three-phase AC power networks directly within the industrial fieldbus segment, the Beckhoff EL3403 provides precise, high-performance measurement values. This 3-channel analog input power measurement terminal is designed to calculate comprehensive electrical grid status parameters, including effective power, reactive power, apparent power, energy consumption, phase angle (cos phi), and frequency for each connected phase. Processing inputs up to 500 V AC directly, the module supports highly detailed diagnostics of energy distribution systems and industrial machinery. Non-intrusive current sensing up to 1 A (AC) is executed through external measuring transformers (such as x A/1 A), enabling flexible integration into existing power distribution frameworks.
