Description

Precision measurement tasks within industrial EtherCAT networks require highly reliable, high-resolution instrumentation. The Beckhoff ELM3146-0000 is a multi-functional, 6-channel analog input terminal designed for high-accuracy data acquisition. Supporting both voltage and current measurement capabilities, each channel can be configured independently to match specific sensor interfaces. The module features integrated Distributed Clocks (DC) for precise temporal synchronization under 1 microsecond, making it ideal for dynamic testing and process diagnostics.

Housed in a robust zinc die-cast metal enclosure with signal status LEDs, this module implements a multiplexed measuring structure operating at sampling rates up to 1 ksps per channel. Advanced dynamic processing functions, such as TrueRMS calculations, PeakHold, free numeric filters, and non-linear scaling, are processed directly within the terminal, reducing computational overhead on the main controller.
