Installation Guidelines

Grounding and Shielding

All structural enclosures and DIN rails housing the controller must be connected to a low-impedance system safety ground. Implement proper cable shielding guidelines for all network communication and interface cables to mitigate Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Radio Frequency Interference (RFI).

Cooling and Ventilation

Maintain proper clearance surrounding the enclosure to allow natural convection cooling. Ensure that the internal enclosure temperature does not exceed the maximum operational ambient temperature rating of +70 degC.

Hazardous Area Precautions

When deployed in Class I, Division 2 or Zone 2 locations, ensure all peripheral connections, wiring terminal assignments, and modules are fully rated for the specific classification. Do not disconnect equipment unless power has been removed or the area is verified to be non-hazardous.
