Description

The 6SL3210-1PC24-2UL0 is a SINAMICS G120 PM240-2 power module, engineered for high-performance motor control in industrial applications. This unfiltered power module includes an integrated braking chopper, providing the necessary functionality for applications requiring controlled deceleration.

Designed for 3-phase AC supply voltages between 200 V and 240 V (47–63 Hz), the module offers flexible power ratings depending on the overload profile. In High Overload (HO) mode, it supports 7.5 kW with an ambient temperature range of -20 degC to +50 degC. In Low Overload (LO) mode, it supports 11 kW with an ambient range of -20 degC to +40 degC. With an IP20 protection rating and a compact FSD frame size, this unit is intended for cabinet-based installations. Please note that this product is supplied as a power module only, without a control unit or operator panel, and is approved for use with CU firmware version V4.7 HF8 or later.

Installation Guidelines

• Mounting: Install the module vertically within a clean, ventilated control cabinet. Ensure sufficient clearance is maintained according to FSD frame size requirements to allow for airflow.
• Cooling: The unit utilizes internal cooling; ensure the cabinet intake and exhaust vents remain unobstructed to maintain temperature limits.
• Grounding: Connect the power module chassis to the cabinet protective earth (PE) busbar to ensure compliance with EMC standards and operator safety.
• Control Unit: This module requires a separate Control Unit (CU) to operate; ensure the selected CU firmware is at least V4.7 HF8 for compatibility.
• Wiring: Use appropriate wire gauges for the 42 A nominal output and ensure all power connections are torqued according to the official documentation.
