The EP2338-0002 is a compact, high-performance EtherCAT Box module designed for distributed industrial automation applications. This IP65/66/67-rated module features 8 digital channels, which can be configured as either digital inputs or digital outputs, providing extreme flexibility in machine control architectures. The EP2338-0002 communicates via the high-speed EtherCAT protocol and connects via robust M8 and M12 industrial-grade connectors. It is engineered for harsh environments, offering high vibration/shock resistance and a wide operating temperature range (-25 to +60 Celsius). Each output channel is individually short-circuit proof, capable of handling ohmic, inductive, or lamp loads up to 0.5 A, making it ideal for decentralized sensor and actuator integration.
