Description

The BECKHOFF KS9528 is an AS-Interface power supply terminal designed for integration within the Beckhoff Bus Terminal system. The KS9528 generates a regulated 30 V DC output voltage from a 24 V DC input, delivering up to 1.25 A output current to supply AS-Interface components without requiring an external AS-Interface power supply unit. It features pluggable wiring, built-in short-circuit protection with automatic restart, and full isolation between the field level and the K-bus.

Features

  • Generates 30 V DC AS-Interface power directly from a 24 V DC input
  • Integrated short-circuit protection with automatic restart
  • Pluggable wiring design for convenient installation and replacement
  • High efficiency operation of approximately 95 %
  • Galvanic insulation of 1,500 V AC constant load between field level and K-bus
  • Standard 35 mm DIN rail mounting with double slot and key connection for side-by-side assembly

Applications

  • AS-Interface network power generation in PLC and control cabinets
  • Industrial automation systems utilizing Beckhoff Bus Terminal architectures
  • Distributed I/O configurations requiring localized 30 V DC AS-i field supply
