The Bently Nevada 3300/12 is an AC power supply that provides reliable, regulated power for up to 12 monitors and their associated transducers within a 3300 rack. It is installed in the left-most position (Position 1) of the rack.

Technical Specifications

1. Input Power

  • Voltage Options: User-selectable for 95 to 125 Vac (1.0 A max) or 190 to 250 Vac (0.5 A max), single phase, 50 to 60 Hz.
  • Field Changeable: The input voltage can be changed in the field via a soldered jumper and by replacing the external fuse.
  • Power-up Surge: 26 A peak or 12 A rms for one cycle.

2. Outputs

  • Transducer Power: Delivers regulated DC voltage internal to the rack.
  • Programmable Voltage: Field-programmable for -24 Vdc (+0%, -2.5%) or -18 Vdc (+1%, -2%).
  • Protection: Transducer voltages are overload protected on individual monitor circuit boards.

3. OK Relay

  • Function: Provides a system-level status indication. Loss of primary power, monitor failure, or transducer wiring failure will cause the relay to change state.
  • Type: Single-pole, double-throw (SPDT).

  • Sealing: Hermetically-sealed.

  • Contact Ratings: 5 A at 28 Vdc or 120 Vac; 3 A at 220 Vac (resistive load).
  • Operation: Normally energized.

  • 4. Physical & Environmental
  • Operating Temperature: 0°C to +65°C (+32°F to +150°F).
  • Storage Temperature: -40°C to +85°C (-40°F to +185°F).
  • Humidity: Up to 95% non-condensing.
  • Weight: 1 kg (2.2 lbs.)

  • Important Notes for Installation
  • Redundancy: A second power supply is never required in the same 3300 rack.
  • Noise Filtering: The 3300/12 comes equipped with a line noise filter as standard.
  • Safety: It is strongly recommended to connect an external annunciator to the OK relay terminals to ensure operators are alerted to a loss of machinery protection.
