Installation Guidelines

  • Mounting: Install the transmitter in a position where process media does not accumulate sediments. Horizontal or vertical mounting is acceptable, provided the process connection is secure.
  • Electrical Wiring: Use shielded cables for the 4–20 mA signal to minimize electromagnetic interference (EMI). Ensure the Pg 13.5 cable gland is tightened correctly to maintain the IP65 rating.
  • Grounding: The metallic housing should be properly grounded to ensure stability and protection against electrical noise.
  • System Power: Ensure the power supply is within the 12–32 V DC range. If the system enters a fault condition, the output signals will be clamped to the specified low (3.6 mA) or high (22.4 mA) levels.
