Description

The IS230PCAAH1B is a Core Analog I/O Module manufactured by GE Energy for the Mark VIe gas turbine control system. It processes the primary portion of analog input and output signals required for gas turbine operation. Internal hardware incorporates a BPPC processor board paired with two application I/O boards (BCAA and BCAB) and a TCAS terminal board. The hardware design accepts analog input/output signals, LVDT excitation outputs, and TTL pulse inputs with power. Signals intended for a single hardware module connect directly to the edge terminal blocks, while signals fanned to simplex or TMR configurations route through an optional TCAT terminal board.

Features

  • Integrated BPPC processor board, BCAA and BCAB application I/O boards, and TCAS terminal board
  • Edge-mounted 120 Euro-style box-type terminal blocks for field device wiring
  • Support for fanned seismic inputs, fanned 4-20 mA inputs, and fanned LVDT feedback via an optional TCAT terminal board
  • Interface connections including dual RJ-45 Ethernet ports and a 28 V dc power connector
  • Three front-facing LED status indicators

Applications

  • Gas turbine core analog signal processing
  • Speed and position feedback acquisition in Mark VIe control systems
  • Industrial turbine control I/O interfacing
