Installation Guidelines

For reliable and safe operation, the following mounting and wiring guidelines must be observed:

• Mounting: Mount the module securely onto a standard DIN rail or directly to the panel board inside a protective control cabinet to minimize vibration.
• Wiring Shielding: To prevent signal degradation and electromagnetic interference (EMI), always use shielded twisted-pair cables for pulse train output lines and high-speed I/O.
• Grounding: Connect the grounding terminal directly to a dedicated class D ground (grounding resistance of 100 ohms or less) using the shortest path possible. Do not share the grounding wire with high-power equipment.
• Power Supply Routing: Route the 24 V DC external power supply cables separately from high-voltage AC power lines to avoid induced electrical noise.
