Installation Guidelines

CRITICAL WARNING: Electrical Hazard. Installation must be performed by qualified personnel only. Failure to de-energize equipment before installation can result in severe injury or death. Always follow local Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  1.  1 Verify the panel cutout dimensions match the HMI's mounting requirements. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, flat, and free of debris.
  2.  2 De-energize the main control cabinet and apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Verify the absence of voltage before proceeding.
  3.  3 Insert the operator panel into the cutout. Secure it evenly using the provided mounting clamps to ensure a proper seal against the enclosure. Do not overtighten.
  4.  4 Connect the DC power supply, communication cables, and any peripheral connections to the appropriate terminals on the rear of the unit.
  5.  5 Ensure a low-impedance ground connection is established between the HMI's chassis ground terminal and the main panel's protective earth bus.
  6.  6 After verifying all connections are secure, remove LOTO devices and re-energize the cabinet. Power on the HMI and confirm correct startup and communication.
