Installation Guidelines

CRITICAL WARNING: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK

Disconnect all power sources before installation or servicing. All work must be performed by qualified personnel in accordance with local electrical codes and safety regulations. Failure to de-energize equipment can result in severe injury or death.

  1. 1 Ensure the control cabinet or panel is completely de-energized and locked out/tagged out (LOTO).
  2. 2 Verify that the panel cutout dimensions match the operator panel's required mounting dimensions. Clean the mounting surface to ensure a proper seal.
  3. 3 Insert the operator panel into the cutout from the front of the enclosure. Ensure the gasket is properly seated between the panel bezel and the enclosure surface.
  4. 4 From the rear, install and tighten the mounting clamps evenly in a cross-pattern to the manufacturer's specified torque. Do not overtighten, as this can warp the bezel and compromise the seal.
  5. 5 Connect the DC power supply and communication cables to the appropriate terminals on the rear of the unit. Ensure proper polarity and secure connections.
  6. 6 Verify that the unit's chassis is properly connected to the panel's protective earth (PE) ground to ensure operator safety and noise immunity.
  7. 7 After all connections are secure and verified, remove the LOTO device and re-energize the control panel. Power on the unit and verify its functionality.
