Installation Guidelines

CRITICAL WARNING: Hazardous voltages may be present. Installation must be performed by qualified personnel only. De-energize and lock out/tag out all power sources before accessing the control cabinet or performing any wiring. Failure to comply can result in severe injury or death.
  1. 1 Verify the panel cutout dimensions in the enclosure door match the HMI's required mounting dimensions. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, flat, and free of debris.
  2. 2 Insert the operator panel into the cutout from the front of the enclosure. Secure it from the rear using the provided mounting clamps, tightening them sequentially and evenly to ensure a proper seal.
  3. 3 Connect the 24 VDC power supply to the designated terminals on the rear of the unit. Use appropriately sized conductors and observe correct polarity (+/-).
  4. 4 Establish a low-impedance connection from the HMI's protective earth (PE) terminal to the main cabinet ground bar. This is critical for operator safety and noise immunity.
  5. 5 Connect communication cables (e.g., PROFIBUS, MPI/DP) to the appropriate ports. Ensure cable shields are properly terminated at one end to prevent ground loops.
