Installation Guidelines

CRITICAL WARNING: Electrical Hazard. Disconnect and lock out all power sources to the control cabinet before installation or removal. Failure to de-energize equipment can result in severe injury or death. All work must be performed by qualified personnel.
  1. 1 Verify that the panel cutout dimensions match the HMI's physical requirements. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, flat, and free of debris.
  2. 2 Insert the HMI into the panel cutout from the front. Ensure the gasket provides a uniform seal against the enclosure surface to maintain the IP rating.
  3. 3 From the rear, install all mounting clamps provided with the unit. Tighten the clamp screws sequentially and evenly to the manufacturer's specified torque to prevent warping the bezel.
  4. 4 Connect the functional earth (ground) terminal on the HMI to the control cabinet's main ground point using a low-impedance conductor.
  5. 5 Connect the DC power supply cable to the power terminal block, observing correct polarity. Connect communication cables (e.g., PROFIBUS, Ethernet) to their respective ports.
  6. 6 After verifying all connections, remove the lockout/tagout device and re-energize the cabinet to commission the HMI panel.
