Installation Guidelines

CRITICAL WARNING: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK

Disconnect all power sources to the enclosure and follow lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures before installation or servicing. Installation must be performed by qualified personnel familiar with industrial control panel standards and practices.

  1. 1 Verify the panel cutout dimensions match the IPC 477D installation requirements. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, flat, and provides adequate structural support.
  2. 2 Insert the Panel PC into the prepared cutout from the front of the enclosure. Secure the unit from the rear using the provided mounting clamps, tightening them evenly to the manufacturer's specified torque to ensure a proper seal.
  3. 3 Connect a low-impedance protective earth (PE) conductor to the designated grounding terminal on the Panel PC chassis. This is essential for safety and EMI protection.
  4. 4 Connect the 24 V DC power supply to the unit's power connector, ensuring correct polarity. Use appropriately sized wiring for the load and route it away from high-voltage or high-frequency cables.
  5. 5 Connect Ethernet, USB, and any serial communication cables as required by the application. Ensure all connectors are fully seated and secured.
  6. 6 After verifying all connections are correct and secure, remove LOTO devices and re-energize the control panel. Power on the Panel PC and verify correct boot-up and operation.
