Installation Guidelines

CRITICAL WARNING: ELECTRICAL HAZARD

Installation must be performed by qualified personnel only. Disconnect and lock out all power sources before installation or servicing to prevent electric shock. This is an obsolete product; verify software and hardware compatibility with existing systems before integration.

  1.  1 Prepare the panel cutout according to the device's mechanical specifications. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, flat, and can support the weight of the unit.
  2.  2 Insert the Panel PC into the cutout from the front of the enclosure. Secure it from the rear using the provided mounting clamps, tightening them evenly to ensure a proper seal.
  3.  3 Connect a low-impedance protective earth (PE) or grounding wire to the designated terminal on the chassis. This is critical for operator safety and noise immunity.
  4.  4 Connect the 115-230 V AC power supply using the provided European mains cable to a stable, correctly rated power source.
  5.  5 Connect all required peripherals, such as network cables, keyboards, or other I/O devices, to their respective ports.
  6.  6 After verifying all connections are secure, restore power to the cabinet and power on the Panel PC. Confirm that the Windows 2000 operating system boots correctly.
