Installation Guidelines
CRITICAL WARNING: Disconnect all power sources before installation or maintenance. This equipment is intended for use by qualified personnel only. Failure to de-energize the system can result in severe injury or equipment damage.
-
1
Verify the enclosure panel cutout dimensions are correct for the Panel PC chassis. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, flat, and rigid.
-
2
Insert the Panel PC into the cutout from the front of the enclosure. Secure the unit from the rear using the provided mounting clamps, tightening them evenly to the manufacturer's specified torque to ensure a proper seal.
-
3
Connect a stable, correctly rated 24 V DC power source to the power supply terminal. Ensure correct polarity is observed. Connect the chassis to the protective earth (PE) ground of the cabinet.
-
4
Connect all required communication, network (Ethernet), and peripheral (USB, serial) cables. Ensure proper cable strain relief and routing to prevent interference.
-
5
Ensure adequate ventilation clearance around the unit's heat sink and vents inside the cabinet to prevent overheating during operation.
-
6
After verifying all connections are secure, re-energize the main cabinet power. Power on the Panel PC and confirm that the operating system boots correctly.
