Installation Guidelines

CRITICAL WARNING: HAZARD OF ELECTRIC SHOCK

Installation must be performed only by qualified personnel. Disconnect all power sources and follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures before accessing any terminals or internal components. Failure to de-energize equipment can result in severe injury or death.

  1. Ensure the control cabinet is fully de-energized and verified to be at a zero-energy state before beginning work.
  2. Verify that the panel cutout dimensions match the mechanical specifications for the PC 670 chassis. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, flat, and rigid.
  3. Insert the Panel PC into the cutout from the front. Secure it from the rear using the provided mounting clamps, tightening them evenly to the manufacturer's specified torque to ensure a proper seal.
  4. Connect the 24 VDC power supply to the designated terminals. Verify correct polarity (+/-) before connection to prevent damage to the unit.
  5. Connect the chassis to the cabinet's protective earth (PE) or functional earth (FE) busbar using a low-impedance conductor of appropriate gauge.
