Installation Guidelines

CRITICAL WARNING: Hazardous voltages are present. Installation must be performed by qualified personnel only. Failure to follow safety procedures can result in equipment damage, severe injury, or death.
  1. 1 De-energize the control cabinet and apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures before beginning any work. Verify the absence of voltage.
  2. 2 Confirm the panel cutout dimensions are compatible with the Panel PC 670 chassis. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, flat, and free of debris.
  3. 3 Use appropriate Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) precautions, such as a grounded wrist strap, when handling the unit.
  4. 4 Carefully insert the Panel PC into the cutout from the front of the panel. Secure it from the rear using the provided mounting clamps, tightening them evenly to ensure a proper seal.
  5. 5 Connect the mains power cable to a properly grounded and rated power source. Ensure the source voltage matches the 115-230V AC rating.
  6. 6 Connect all required communication, peripheral, and I/O cables. Ensure all connections are secure.
  7. 7 After clearing the work area, remove LOTO devices and re-energize the cabinet. Power on the Panel PC and verify correct system boot and application functionality.
