Installation Guidelines
CRITICAL WARNING: Electrical hazard. Disconnect all power sources and implement Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures before installation or servicing. Installation must be performed by qualified personnel only. Failure to comply can result in severe injury or death.
-
1
Ensure the mounting cutout in the control cabinet or panel is clean, free of burrs, and matches the PC's required dimensions. Verify adequate clearance for ventilation and cable routing behind the unit.
-
2
Insert the Panel PC into the cutout from the front. Secure it evenly using all provided mounting clamps. Tighten the clamps progressively in a cross-pattern to ensure a uniform seal against the panel gasket.
-
3
Connect a dedicated protective earth (PE) or grounding conductor to the designated chassis grounding terminal. This connection is critical for safety and noise immunity.
-
4
Connect the AC mains power cable. Verify that the source voltage (115-230V AC) matches the unit's rating before energizing. Ensure the power source is stable and properly fused.
-
5
Connect all required communication and I/O cables (e.g., Ethernet, serial, USB). Route cables neatly and secure them to prevent strain on the connectors. Maintain separation between power and signal wiring.
