Installation Guidelines
CRITICAL WARNING: Hazardous voltages are present. Installation must be performed by qualified personnel only. Ensure all power sources are de-energized and locked out/tagged out (LOTO) before beginning any work. Failure to comply can result in severe injury or death.
-
1
Verify that the panel cutout dimensions match the PC 670's mounting requirements. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, flat, and can support the unit's weight.
-
2
Insert the Panel PC into the cutout from the front of the enclosure. Secure it from the rear using the provided mounting clamps, tightening them evenly to the manufacturer's specified torque to ensure a proper seal.
-
3
Connect a low-impedance protective earth (PE) ground wire to the designated grounding terminal on the Panel PC chassis. This is critical for electrical safety and noise immunity.
-
4
Connect all required communication, I/O, and peripheral cables. Ensure proper cable strain relief and routing to prevent damage and interference.
-
5
Connect the mains power cable to a stable, correctly rated power source. Only after all other connections are secure and the enclosure is closed should power be restored.
