Installation Guidelines

CRITICAL WARNING: Hazardous voltages are present. Installation must be performed by qualified personnel only. Failure to follow safety procedures can result in severe injury or death. Always de-energize equipment and apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) before accessing electrical components.
  1. 1 Verify that the control cabinet or panel is fully de-energized and that Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures are in effect before beginning installation.
  2. 2 Confirm the panel cutout dimensions match the PC670 chassis requirements. Ensure adequate clearance around the unit for ventilation and cable routing, especially at the rear.
  3. 3 Secure the Panel PC into the cutout using the manufacturer-specified mounting clamps. Apply even torque to all clamps to ensure a proper seal and prevent chassis distortion.
  4. 4 Connect a dedicated, low-impedance protective earth (PE) or grounding conductor to the designated grounding point on the PC chassis. This is critical for safety and noise immunity.
  5. 5 Connect the provided mains cable to the unit's power inlet and to a properly rated and protected AC power source. Do not energize the circuit at this time.
  6. 6 Connect all necessary communication, peripheral, and I/O cables. Ensure connectors are fully seated and secured. Route cables away from high-voltage lines to minimize electrical noise.
  7. 7 After a final inspection of all connections, remove LOTO devices according to established procedures and apply power to the cabinet to commission the unit.
