Installation Guidelines

CRITICAL WARNING: This is an obsolete product. Verify firmware, software, and hardware compatibility with existing systems before installation. Incorrect integration may lead to system malfunction or data loss.
  1. 1 De-energize Equipment: Before installation, ensure all power to the control cabinet is disconnected and locked out/tagged out (LOTO) according to site safety procedures.
  2. 2 Verify Panel Cutout: Confirm that the enclosure cutout dimensions match the requirements for the Panel PC 670. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, flat, and free of debris.
  3. 3 Mount the Unit: Insert the Panel PC into the cutout from the front of the enclosure. Secure it from the rear using the provided mounting clamps, tightening them evenly to ensure a proper seal against the panel gasket.
  4. 4 Establish Ground Connection: Connect the chassis to the cabinet's protective earth (PE) busbar using a low-impedance conductor. A reliable ground connection is essential for safety and noise immunity.
  5. 5 Connect Cables: Connect the main power supply, communication cables (e.g., Ethernet, PROFIBUS), and any peripheral I/O. Ensure all connectors are fully seated and secured.
  6. 6 Commissioning: After verifying all connections, remove the LOTO and re-energize the cabinet. Power on the Panel PC and proceed with software loading and system configuration.
