Installation Guidelines
CRITICAL WARNING: Hazardous voltages are present. All installation and maintenance activities must be performed by qualified personnel with power completely de-energized and locked out (LOTO). Failure to comply can result in severe injury or death.
-
1
Prepare Mounting Location: Ensure the panel cutout dimensions match the PC 670 specifications. The mounting surface must be clean, flat, and capable of supporting the unit's weight. Verify adequate clearance for ventilation and cable routing.
-
2
Install the Unit: Insert the Panel PC into the prepared cutout from the front. Secure the unit from the rear using the provided mounting clamps, tightening them evenly to ensure a proper seal against the panel gasket. Do not over-torque the clamps.
-
3
Connect Protective Earth (PE): Connect a low-impedance protective earth conductor to the designated PE terminal on the chassis. This connection is critical for safety and noise immunity.
-
4
Connect Power: With the main power source de-energized, connect the provided mains cable to the unit's power inlet. Ensure the source voltage matches the 115-230 V AC rating.
-
5
Connect Peripherals: Connect all required communication cables, keyboard, mouse, and other peripherals to their respective ports. Ensure proper cable strain relief to prevent damage to connectors.
