Installation Guidelines
CRITICAL WARNING: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
This equipment is powered by hazardous voltages. All installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting must be performed by qualified personnel only. Ensure the main power source is de-energized and locked out/tagged out (LOTO) before accessing any terminals or internal components. Failure to comply can result in severe injury or death.
-
1
Prepare Mounting Location: Ensure the panel cutout dimensions are correct and the mounting surface is clean, flat, and can support the weight of the unit. Verify adequate clearance for ventilation and cable routing at the rear of the device.
-
2
Mount the Unit: Insert the Panel PC into the prepared cutout from the front. Secure it from the rear using the provided mounting clamps, tightening them evenly to ensure a proper seal against the panel surface. Do not over-torque the clamps.
-
3
Connect Protective Earth (PE): Connect a low-impedance protective earth conductor to the designated PE terminal on the chassis. This is a critical safety connection and must be established before any other connections are made.
-
4
Connect Power and Peripherals: With the main power source confirmed OFF, connect the 230V AC mains cable. Connect any required peripherals such as keyboards, mice, and network cables to their respective ports. Ensure all cables are routed neatly and secured to prevent strain.
-
5
Power-Up and System Check: After verifying all connections are secure and the work area is clear, restore power to the unit. Observe the boot sequence to ensure the operating system loads correctly. Proceed with application-specific software installation and configuration.
