Installation Guidelines

CRITICAL WARNING: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK AND EQUIPMENT DAMAGE

Installation must be performed by qualified personnel only. Disconnect and lock out all power sources before installation. This device contains components sensitive to electrostatic discharge (ESD). Use proper ESD protection procedures.

  1. 1 De-energize the control cabinet and apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to the main disconnect. Verify the absence of voltage before proceeding.
  2. 2 Verify that the panel cutout dimensions match the requirements for the Panel PC 670 chassis. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, flat, and free of debris.
  3. 3 Insert the Panel PC into the cutout from the front of the panel. Ensure the front bezel gasket is properly seated against the panel surface to maintain the specified ingress protection rating.
  4. 4 From the rear, install and tighten the mounting clamps in a diagonal sequence to apply even pressure. Do not overtighten.
  5. 5 Connect a low-impedance protective earth (PE) conductor to the designated grounding terminal on the chassis. This is critical for safety and noise immunity.
  6. 6 Connect the AC power supply cable to the unit's power input connector. Ensure the source voltage matches the 115-230V AC rating.
  7. 7 Connect all required communication, peripheral, and I/O cables. Secure connectors and ensure proper cable strain relief.
  8. 8 After verifying all connections are secure and correct, remove the LOTO device and re-energize the cabinet to commission the Panel PC.
