Installation Guidelines

CRITICAL WARNING: This is an obsolete product. The pre-installed Windows 2000 operating system is unsupported and may contain security vulnerabilities. This unit should only be deployed on isolated, air-gapped industrial networks. Always perform a full backup of the hard drive before integration.
  1. 1 Ensure all power to the enclosure is de-energized and locked-out/tagged-out (LOTO) before beginning installation. Verify the absence of voltage.
  2. 2 Verify the panel cutout dimensions are correct for the PC 677 chassis. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, flat, and can support the unit's weight.
  3. 3 Insert the Panel PC into the cutout from the front. Secure it from the rear using all provided mounting clamps, tightening them evenly to ensure a proper seal.
  4. 4 Connect a low-impedance protective earth (PE) conductor to the designated grounding terminal on the chassis. This connection must be made first.
  5. 5 Connect the 110-230V AC power supply cable to the unit's power input connector. Ensure the power source is stable and within the specified voltage range.
  6. 6 Connect all required communication and peripheral cables (e.g., Ethernet, serial, keyboard). After all connections are secure, remove the LOTO and re-apply power to the enclosure.
