  1. 1 Prepare the panel cutout according to the device's mechanical drawings. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, flat, and can support the weight of the unit.
  2. 2 Insert the Panel PC into the cutout from the front. Secure it evenly using all provided mounting clamps. Do not overtighten the clamps, as this can warp the bezel.
  3. 3 Connect a low-impedance functional earth (FE) or protective earth (PE) conductor to the designated grounding terminal on the chassis. This is critical for noise immunity and safety.
  4. 4 Connect the 24 VDC power supply, ensuring correct polarity. Use appropriately sized conductors and verify the power source is stable and within the specified voltage range.
  5. 5 Connect all required communication cables, such as PROFIBUS and Ethernet. Use shielded cables for all data lines and ensure shields are properly terminated to ground at one end to minimize EMI.
  6. 6 After all connections are secure, restore power to the cabinet and verify the Panel PC boots correctly and establishes communication with other network devices.
