Installation Guidelines

CRITICAL WARNING: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK

Disconnect all power sources before installation or servicing. Failure to de-energize equipment can result in severe injury or death. All procedures must be performed by qualified personnel in accordance with local electrical codes and safety regulations.

  1. De-energize Equipment: Isolate and lock out all power to the control cabinet or panel where the PC will be installed. Verify the absence of voltage using a calibrated multimeter.
  2. Prepare Panel Cutout: Ensure the panel cutout dimensions match the requirements for the Panel PC 877 chassis. Clean the mounting surface of any debris or contaminants.
  3. Mount the Unit: Insert the Panel PC into the cutout from the front. Secure it from the rear using the provided mounting clamps, tightening them evenly to ensure a proper seal against the panel gasket.
  4. Connect Protective Earth (PE): Connect a dedicated protective earth conductor to the designated grounding terminal on the PC chassis. Ensure a low-impedance connection to the main panel ground.
  5. Connect Power and Peripherals: Connect the AC power cable to the unit's power input. Connect any required network cables, USB devices, or other peripherals to their respective ports.
  6. Power-Up and Test: After confirming all connections are secure, remove the lockout/tagout and re-energize the main panel. Power on the Panel PC and verify correct system boot and operation.
