Installation Guidelines
CRITICAL WARNING: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
This equipment is powered by hazardous AC voltage. All installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting must be performed by qualified personnel only. Failure to de-energize the control cabinet and follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures before working on this device can result in severe injury or death.
-
1
Ensure the main power supply to the enclosure is completely disconnected and locked out. Verify the absence of voltage with a properly rated multimeter.
-
2
Verify that the panel cutout dimensions match the requirements for the PC 677B chassis. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, flat, and can support the unit's weight.
-
3
Carefully insert the Panel PC into the cutout from the front of the panel. Ensure the gasket is properly seated to maintain the enclosure's IP rating.
-
4
From the rear, install and tighten the mounting clamps evenly in a cross-pattern to secure the unit firmly against the panel surface. Do not overtighten.
-
5
Connect a low-impedance protective earth (PE) conductor to the designated grounding terminal on the chassis. This connection is critical for safety.
-
6
Connect the 110/230V AC power cable to the unit's power input connector. Ensure the source voltage matches the unit's rating.
-
7
Connect Ethernet, USB, and any other required peripheral cables. Route cables to prevent strain and interference.
-
8
After verifying all connections are secure and correct, remove the LOTO device and re-energize the cabinet. Power on the Panel PC and verify its operation.
