Installation Guidelines

CRITICAL WARNING: Disconnect all power sources before installation or maintenance. Failure to de-energize equipment can result in severe injury or death. This device must be installed in a grounded enclosure by qualified personnel only.

  1. 1 Ensure the control cabinet is de-energized and locked out. Verify the absence of voltage before proceeding.
  2. 2 Prepare the panel cutout according to the device's mechanical specifications. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, flat, and free of debris.
  3. 3 Insert the Panel PC into the cutout from the front. Secure it evenly from the rear using the provided mounting clamps, tightening to the specified torque to ensure a proper seal.
  4. 4 Connect the protective earth (PE) terminal to the cabinet's main ground point using a low-impedance conductor. This is the first electrical connection to be made.
  5. 5 Connect the 24 V DC power supply, ensuring correct polarity. Use a stable, filtered power source rated for industrial environments.
  6. 6 Connect Ethernet, USB, and serial communication cables as required. Ensure proper cable shielding and routing to minimize electromagnetic interference.
  7. 7 Once all connections are secure, remove the lockout/tagout and re-energize the cabinet. Power on the device and verify system startup and functionality.
