Installation Guidelines

CRITICAL WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Disconnect all power sources and implement lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures before installation, servicing, or removal. Installation must be performed by qualified personnel only.
  1. 1 Prepare the mounting location. Verify that the panel cutout dimensions match the unit's specifications and ensure the mounting surface is clean, flat, and can support the device weight.
  2. 2 Insert the Panel PC into the cutout from the front. Secure it from the rear using the provided mounting clamps, tightening them evenly to the manufacturer's recommended torque to ensure a proper seal.
  3. 3 Connect the protective earth (PE) or functional ground terminal to the enclosure's main grounding point using a low-impedance conductor of the appropriate gauge. This is critical for safety and noise immunity.
  4. 4 Connect the specified DC power supply to the power input terminals, ensuring correct polarity. Use shielded power cables where possible and route them separately from high-voltage or signal wiring.
  5. 5 Connect PROFINET/Ethernet, USB, and any other required communication or peripheral cables. Ensure all connectors are fully seated and secured.
  6. 6 After verifying all connections are correct and secure, remove LOTO devices and re-apply power to the enclosure. Power on the Panel PC and confirm that the operating system and HMI application load correctly.
