Installation Guidelines
CRITICAL WARNING: Electrical Hazard
Installation must be performed by qualified personnel only. Disconnect and lock out all power sources before accessing the control cabinet or installing the device. Failure to de-energize equipment can result in severe injury or death.
-
1
Verify that the control cabinet is de-energized and locked out. Confirm the panel cutout dimensions match the IPC677C installation requirements.
-
2
Insert the Panel PC into the prepared cutout from the front of the cabinet. Ensure the front bezel gasket is properly seated against the panel surface to maintain the ingress protection rating.
-
3
From the rear, install and evenly tighten all mounting clamps provided with the unit. Do not overtighten, as this can damage the bezel or panel.
-
4
Connect a dedicated protective earth (PE) conductor to the designated grounding terminal on the PC chassis. This is critical for electrical safety and noise immunity.
-
5
Connect the AC power supply cable to the unit and to the facility's power source. Ensure the voltage matches the 110/230 V AC rating.
-
6
Connect Ethernet, USB, and any other required peripheral cables. Ensure proper cable routing and strain relief to prevent accidental disconnection.
-
7
After verifying all connections are secure and the cabinet is safe to operate, remove the lockout/tagout and re-energize the main power. Power on the Panel PC and confirm successful boot into the operating system.
