Installation Guidelines
CRITICAL WARNING: This equipment contains components sensitive to electrostatic discharge (ESD). Use proper ESD protection, including wrist straps and grounded mats, during handling and installation. Ensure the control cabinet is fully de-energized and locked out before beginning work.
-
1
Verify the control cabinet is de-energized and that all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures are in effect.
-
2
Securely mount the IPC427C unit inside the panel. Ensure adequate clearance around the unit for ventilation to prevent overheating.
-
3
Connect the chassis ground terminal to the main cabinet protective earth (PE) busbar using a short, low-impedance grounding conductor.
-
4
Connect the PROFIBUS or MPI network cable to the onboard CP5611 port. Ensure proper termination of the bus segment.
-
5
Connect the specified DC power supply to the power input terminals, strictly observing correct polarity.
-
6
After double-checking all connections, remove LOTO devices and re-energize the cabinet to begin system commissioning.
