Installation Guidelines

  1. Disconnect and de-energize all power sources to the control cabinet or mounting location. Follow all applicable Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  2. Mount the Microbox PC securely onto a standard DIN rail or a flat panel surface within the enclosure, ensuring adequate ventilation space around the unit.
  3. Connect the chassis to the main protective earth (PE) ground of the cabinet using the designated grounding terminal on the IPC.
  4. Connect shielded Ethernet cables to the PROFINET and Gigabit Ethernet ports as required by the application. Ensure cable shields are properly terminated.
  5. Connect any required peripherals such as displays, keyboards, or USB devices.
  6. Connect the 24V DC power supply to the designated power input terminals, ensuring correct polarity.
  7. After verifying all connections are secure and correct, remove LOTO devices and re-energize the cabinet to commission the IPC.
