Installation Guidelines
CRITICAL WARNING: Electrical Hazard. Installation must be performed by qualified personnel only. De-energize all power sources and follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures before accessing terminals or making connections. Failure to do so can result in severe injury or death.
-
1
Ensure the control cabinet is de-energized and verified to be in a zero-energy state before beginning installation.
-
2
Securely mount the switch into a standard 19-inch industrial rack or cabinet using the appropriate mounting hardware. Ensure adequate ventilation space around the unit.
-
3
Connect the functional earth (FE) or protective earth (PE) terminal on the switch chassis to the cabinet's main grounding point using a low-impedance conductor.
-
4
Terminate the 24 V DC power supply wiring to the designated power input terminals, observing correct polarity. Use appropriately sized conductors for the load.
-
5
If using configuration backup, insert the C-PLUG into its designated slot on the device.
-
6
Connect network cables to the RJ45 ports and/or insert SFP transceivers and connect fiber optic cables as required by the network design.
-
7
Once all connections are secure, close the cabinet, remove LOTO devices, and re-energize the system. Verify correct operation via the device status LEDs.
