Installation Guidelines

CRITICAL WARNING: Installation, modification, or removal of this equipment must be performed exclusively by trained and qualified electrical personnel. Always de-energize the entire control cabinet and follow all applicable Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures before commencing work to prevent electric shock and equipment damage.
  1. 1 Verify that the control panel cutout dimensions match the IPC 477D installation requirements. Ensure adequate clearance for ventilation and cable routing.
  2. 2 Confirm the control cabinet is fully de-energized and locked out. Test for absence of voltage before proceeding.
  3. 3 Insert the Panel PC into the cutout from the front of the panel. Secure it from the rear using the provided mounting clamps, tightening them evenly to the manufacturer's specified torque to ensure a proper seal.
  4. 4 Connect a low-impedance protective earth (PE) conductor to the designated grounding terminal on the IPC chassis. This is critical for safety and noise immunity.
  5. 5 Connect the 24 V DC power supply to the IPC's power input connector, ensuring correct polarity. Use appropriately sized conductors for the load and distance.
  6. 6 Connect Ethernet, USB, and any other required peripheral cables. Ensure all cables are properly secured and routed to prevent strain on the connectors.
  7. 7 After verifying all connections are secure, remove the lockout/tagout devices and re-energize the cabinet. Power on the IPC and confirm proper boot-up and operation.
