Installation Guidelines

CRITICAL WARNING: Electrical Hazard

Installation must be performed by qualified personnel only. Disconnect all power sources before installation or maintenance to prevent electric shock and equipment damage. Always verify a zero-energy state using a calibrated voltmeter before handling conductors. Failure to comply can result in severe injury or death.

  1. 1 Ensure the control cabinet is de-energized and locked out (LOTO). Verify the absence of voltage before proceeding.
  2. 2 Prepare the panel cutout according to the mechanical drawings for the IPC277E. Ensure all metal shavings are removed from the enclosure.
  3. 3 Insert the Panel PC into the cutout and secure it evenly using all provided mounting clamps. Tighten clamps to the manufacturer's specified torque to ensure a proper seal.
  4. 4 Connect a stable, correctly rated 24 V DC power supply to the designated power terminals. Verify correct polarity (+/-) before connecting.
  5. 5 Connect the chassis grounding point to the cabinet's protective earth (PE) busbar using a low-impedance conductor.
  6. 6 Connect Ethernet, USB, Display Port, and any other required peripheral cables. Ensure proper cable routing and strain relief.
  7. 7 Once all connections are verified, remove the lockout/tagout devices and re-energize the cabinet to begin software installation and commissioning.
