Installation Guidelines
CRITICAL WARNING: Electrical Hazard
This equipment is powered by hazardous AC voltage. All installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities must be performed by qualified personnel only. Failure to de-energize and lock out/tag out (LOTO) the power source before accessing terminals can result in severe injury or death.
-
1
Prepare Mounting Location: Ensure the panel cutout dimensions are accurate and the mounting surface is clean, flat, and can support the weight of the unit. Verify adequate clearance for ventilation and cable routing at the rear of the PC.
-
2
Mount the Unit: Insert the Panel PC into the cutout from the front. Secure it from the rear using the provided mounting clamps. Tighten the clamps evenly in a cross-pattern to ensure a uniform seal against the panel gasket. Do not over-torque the clamps.
-
3
Connect Protective Earth (PE): Connect a dedicated, low-impedance protective earth conductor to the designated grounding terminal on the PC chassis. This is critical for operator safety and noise immunity.
-
4
Connect Power: With the main power source de-energized and locked out, connect the provided mains cable to the unit's power inlet. Ensure the source voltage matches the 115-230 V AC rating.
-
5
Connect Peripherals: Connect any required communication cables (e.g., Ethernet, serial) and I/O devices. Route cables neatly and avoid routing signal cables parallel to high-power AC lines to prevent interference.
