The EL1859 (EL1859) is a high-density (HD) EtherCAT terminal that integrates 8 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs into a single, space-saving 12 mm wide module. Designed for versatile industrial applications, this "combi" terminal supports 24 V DC signals and is optimized for efficient signal processing in compact control cabinets. By providing a high channel density, the EL1859 minimizes the footprint of I/O assemblies while maintaining the deterministic, high-speed communication performance of the EtherCAT network. It is ideal for machine control systems requiring a balance of monitoring and actuation capabilities, including sensor feedback collection and small actuator control for conveyors, packaging, and assembly lines.
