  3. 3 Grounding: Connect the functional earth (FE) terminal on the device chassis to the control cabinet's central grounding point using a low-impedance conductor. A proper ground connection is essential for noise immunity and safety.
  4. 4 Power Connection: Connect a stable, protected 24 V DC power source to the designated power supply connector. Verify correct polarity before applying power. Use appropriately sized conductors for the load and distance.
  5. 5 Interface Cabling: Connect Ethernet, PROFIBUS, USB, and serial cables as required. Route communication cables separately from high-voltage power lines to minimize electromagnetic interference. Ensure all connectors are securely fastened.
