Installation Guidelines

CRITICAL WARNING: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK

Disconnect all power sources before installation or servicing. This equipment must be installed in an enclosure and properly grounded by qualified personnel. Failure to comply can result in severe injury or death.

  1. 1 Ensure the control cabinet is de-energized and locked out (LOTO). Verify the absence of voltage before proceeding.
  2. 2 Prepare the panel cutout according to the device's mechanical specifications. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, flat, and free of debris.
  3. 3 Insert the Panel PC into the cutout from the front of the enclosure. Secure it from the rear using the provided mounting clamps, tightening them evenly to the specified torque to ensure a proper seal.
  4. 4 Connect a low-impedance protective earth (PE) conductor to the designated grounding terminal on the Panel PC chassis. This is a mandatory safety connection.
  5. 5 Connect the 110/230 V AC power supply cable to the unit's power input. Ensure the source voltage matches the device rating.
  6. 6 Connect Ethernet, PROFIBUS/MPI, USB, and any other required communication or peripheral cables. Ensure proper cable strain relief and routing.
  7. 7 After closing the enclosure, re-energize the cabinet. Power on the Panel PC and verify that the operating system boots correctly and all peripherals are recognized.
