Installation Guidelines

1. 1 Mount the switch securely onto a standard 35mm DIN rail inside a suitable enclosure that protects against environmental contaminants and provides adequate ventilation. Ensure a solid mechanical connection.
2. 2 Connect the functional earth (FE) terminal to the local equipotential bonding system. A low-impedance ground connection is critical for noise immunity and safety.
3. 3 Connect the DC power supply to the designated power input terminals. Verify the voltage and polarity are correct before energizing the unit. Use appropriately sized conductors and secure them firmly in the terminals.
4. 4 Connect network devices using shielded RJ45 cables for copper ports and appropriate multimode fiber optic cables for the SC ports. Ensure connectors are clean and fully seated. Route data cables separately from high-voltage power lines.
5. 5 After all connections are made, restore power to the cabinet and verify the device's status LEDs for correct operation, including power, link status, and network activity.
