3604E (3604 E) is a Triconex 24 VDC TMR Digital Output Module designed for safety critical shutdown and interlock systems. The 3604E provides 16 non commoned output channels with full Triple Modular Redundant architecture. Each point uses independent drivers and hardware voting to ensure deterministic output control even during single channel failure.

The module is typically deployed in emergency shutdown systems, burner management systems, turbine protection, and compressor control panels. The 3604E integrates output voter diagnostics, loopback monitoring, and per point status indicators. These functions detect wiring faults, load failures, and driver degradation without interrupting operation. The module supports high current loads such as solenoids, relays, and trip valves while maintaining low leakage and high isolation.

Output Circuit Design and Voting Logic

The 3604E implements triplicated output circuitry with hardware voter logic:
