Installation Guidelines

Correct installation ensures the system functions within its specified linear range and maintains signal integrity:

• Probe Clearance: Ensure a minimum of 31 mm diameter of flat target surface is maintained. Keep surrounding metal at least 15.2 mm away from the probe tip to avoid side-viewing cross-talk.
• Case Torque: Do not exceed the maximum rated torque of 63.3 N-m (560 in-lb) during thread engagement to prevent casing deformation. The recommended installation torque is 21.1 N-m (187 in-lb).
• Cable Minimum Bend Radius: Maintain a minimum bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 inch) for the probe cable during routing to prevent internal coaxial damage.
• Connector Protection: Ensure the fluorosilicone connector protector is fully seated over the miniature ClickLoc connection to shield the coaxial junction from oil, moisture, and debris.
